Harry Potter Park Opened For Limited Visitors

On May 17, 2010 the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter has opened for the first time to showcase what Universal Describes as the ultimate theme ark experience.

Attendees of the Orlando International Pow Wow (which is a tourism convention) were the lucky ones to enter the theme park and got to see the magic at work. Those lucky few to be there were able to walk through Hogsmeade Village, including its stores and restaurants, take a trip through half of the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride’s queue, and ride the Dragon Challenge and Flight of the Hippogriff roller coasters.

J.K. Rowling Came to Harry Potter Theme Park for a Visit

Again, we have scored this precious bit of info for you. We are super excited to deliver those news to our wizard friends.
It seems that the theme park has been open yesterday Wednesday March 17, 2010 to showcase what have been built so far. The lucky ones invited are mostly top Universal and Warner Bros executives, and get this scoop: J.K. Rowling was seen in the park walking around and breathing in her creations. J.K. Rowling apparently have pressed the point of no soda beverages will be sold in the Harry Potter theme park. So, strong push to sell butter beer can be expected. But it is a good move towards educating kids against unhealthy beverages.

“The Dueling Dragons” Rollercoaster Experience

We Have this great Video for all of you today. This video is a quick glimpse into “The Dueling Dragons” roller coaster. The ride is closed for renovations now, and it is reported that it will reopen on March 16 as the spanking new “The Dragon Challenge” attraction. Another attraction that will be open in harry potter theme park is , “Harry Potter and The Forbidden Journey”.

The Hogwarts Express is Revealed!

Ok folks we are now officially getting close, to the opening date of the Harry Potter theme park. The Hogwarts express was unveiled over the week end, and we have the photo to prove it. The Train will greet all the harry potter theme park visitors.

The Array of Attractions

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.
The flagship attraction/ride of Harry Potter Theme park. Built in the 150 foot tall Hogwarts Castle the ride will feature the revolutionary KUKA Arm technology. The rider will be tossed and turned in all possible directions along with the video track of Harry Potter Adventures.
The name was given by the Harry Potter books writer and inventor J.K Rowling. It promises to be a far better version of the “Sum of all thrills” attraction in Epcot Center Orlando, Florida.
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
Flight of the Hippogriff.
This ride described as a family-orientated ride that replicates a Hippogriff – the half-horse, half-eagle beast from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban – training flight over Hogwarts castle.
